All-Levels Vinyasa Yoga
Monday • 6pm – 7:15pm • with Raeanne
Vinyasa yoga is a synchronization of breath and movement, and students will flow into and out of postures helping to warm the body, oxygenate the blood, and build strength and focus. This particular class is suitable for all levels – beginners and experienced practitioners alike – due to its slow-flow approach and incorporation of pranayama (breathing) and restorative techniques.
Postures are often held for 5 or more breaths, allowing for a deeper experience of the subtleties in each pose; Transitions are slow and mindful, encouraging a thoughtful dialogue between body and mind.
Modifications are offered throughout so that each student can customize the class to his/her individual needs.
